Mayor Domenic J. Sarno And Springfield’s Senior Financial Team Travel To Boston For Meetings With State’s House And Senate Leadership

MAYOR SARNO TO PRESENT CASE FOR MORE LOCAL AID

May 4, 2012 – Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Springfield’s Senior Financial Team will travel to Boston on Monday, May 7, 2012, for scheduled meetings with members of the State’s House and Senate Leadership to discuss the City of Springfield’s Fiscal Year 2013 Budget outlook and the need for more local aid.

Mayor Sarno and the Finance Division Team have meetings scheduled with the following individuals:

•    Robert A. DeLeo, Speaker of the House of Representatives
•    Senator Therese Murray, Senate President
•    Senator Stephen M. Brewer, Senate Ways and Means Chair
•    Jay Gonzalez, Secretary of the State Executive Office of Administration and Finance

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno will be joined by the City’s Chief Administrative and Financial Officer Lee Erdmann, Director of Finance Timothy Plante and Springfield’s Budget Director LeeAnn Pasquini.
