Springfield Department of Public Works Issues Road Project Advisory

The City of Springfield’s Department of Public Works today issued a road improvement project advisory. The MassDOT has notified the Springfield DPW that Main Street in Springfield, from Gridiron Street to Osgood Street, will be under construction on May 7^th and May 8^th. Pavement milling operations are scheduled and motorist should seek alternate routes or avoid the area if possible. The paving dates for the same section of roadway are still to be determined.
