The City of Springfield has issued Requests for Proposals for purchase and redevelopment of several significant properties along the State Street Corridor.
“We are looking to have these properties re-developed in such a way that they enhance and build upon the many improvements and planned developments along the State Street Corridor,” said Mayor Domenic J. Sarno.
The properties are 886-892 State Street & WS Andrew Street (00440-0001), a mixed use building that has three commercial units on the ground floor and fifteen residential units on the upper floors and the attached parking lot. In addition the City is also offering for sale the abutting properties at 870-880 State Street, WS Andrew Street (00440-0002) & ES Hayden Avenue (06460-0035), which consists of two commercial buildings with a total of eight units and the adjoining parking lot.
Open houses will take place on the following:
-Tuesday, March 20th at 1:00 p.m.
-Thursday, March 22nd at 3:30 p.m.
-Wednesday, March 28th at 11:00 a.m.
-Monday, April 2nd at 2:00 p.m.
Proposals for all properties will be due on April 18, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at the Office of Procurement.
