The City of Springfield reminds City residents that the last day to file an abatement for Fiscal Year 2012 Real Estate and Personal Property assessments is Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Fiscal Year 2012 real property assessments are based on the property’s physical condition as of June 30, 2011 and full and fair cash value as of January 1, 2011.
The due date for personal exemptions (seniors over 70 years of age, widow(er), veteran, blind, etc.) is Friday, March 30, 2012.
