Springfield’s Department of Public Works (DPW) announced today that it will begin collecting Christmas trees on Tuesday January 10th through Friday January 20th. Christmas tree collection will follow the City’s recycling collection schedule and residents should place their Christmas trees out for collection no later than 7:00 a.m., on their regularly scheduled recycling day between January 10, 2012 and January 20, 2012.
Residents can call the City’s Call Center by dialing 3-1-1 or (413) 736-3111 from outside City limits if they are unsure of their recycling collection day.
