On Thursday, Oct. 27, VA Central Western Massachusetts Healthcare System is sponsoring a summit meeting, with support from the City of Springfield, on the subject of Veteran Homelessness Prevention and Jobs.
The summit, entitled “Partnering to Prevent Veteran Homelessness: Pathways to Education, Employment and Income,” will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the City of Springfield Department of Elder Affairs, 1600 East Columbus Avenue, Second Floor, Springfield, Mass. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. A panel will discuss ways to increase access to services and how to best resolve barriers for Veterans to obtain resources.
