WHO: Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), FEMA, the Small Business Administration, Springfield Chamber of Commerce and the Basketball Hall of Fame to gather for photo op.
WHAT: An opportunity to display the partnership between private sector, local, state and federal government officials and to showcase the importance of the whole community working together to help those that were affected by the severe storms and tornadoes on June 1 to begin to recover from this disaster event. The Basketball Hall of Fame partnered with MEMA and FEMA to display disaster assistance registration information to assist in reaching as many affected individuals as possible before the Aug. 15, 2011 registration deadline.
