SPRINGFIELD CITY CLERK WAYMAN LEE REMINDS CITY DOG OWNERS THAT DOG LICENSING REGISTRATION FOR 2011 UNDERWAY
April 12, 2011 – Springfield City Clerk Wayman Lee announced today that dog licenses for the year 2011 (April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2012) are now available at the City Clerk Office, 36 Court Street, Room 122 or by going to the City’s website www.springfieldcityhall.com/cityclerk .
The fees are $5 for each spayed or neutered dog and $20 for each non-spayed/neutered dog. A late fee of $5 per month will be added for each dog not licensed by June 1, 2011. A current rabies vaccination is required and registrations by mail must include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
City Clerk Wayman Lee stated “the city clerk’s office will also be posting a list of all registered and unregistered dogs for year 2010 (April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011) on the city’s website on or about April 15, 2011, based on information received from local veterinarian offices.”
