On Saturday, June 19, 2010 the Forest Park Zoo hosted its annual gala fundraiser, "Party with the Animals" at the zoo. Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Springfield First Lady Carla Sarno were the honorary chairs of the event, which featured dinner and a silent auction. The Sarno girls were also in attendance.
