SPRINGFIELD DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS ANNOUNCES ROAD CLOSURES DURING BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME ENSHRINEMENT CEREMONIES
September 4, 2009 – The City of Springfield’s Department of Public Works announced today that the following street closures for vehicular traffic will take place around Springfield City Hall and the MassMutual Center on Friday, September 11, 2009, during Enshrinement 2009:
Street Closed Time Closed
Court Street from City Hall Plaza to Columbus Avenue 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Main Street from Boland Way to State Street 4:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.
Court Street and Pynchon Street 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
The horseshoe shaped parking lot behind City Hall will also be closed from 8:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 8, 2009, through Sunday, September 13, 2009.
Motorist that utilize these roads during these time periods are encouraged to seek alternative routes.
