Children, teens, and adults are encouraged to “Reach For The Stars … Read!” this summer at the Springfield City Library. Adults may sign up by stopping in to any of our library branches, or online at www.springfieldlibrary.org, while for teens signups are online only. Parents may sign their children up by visiting any Springfield City Library location.
The Summer Reading Club for kids and teens will run from June 22 until August 8, with many special events planned and cool prizes offered for every age. From “launch” to “landing” you’re sure to have a great time making many new friends, in person or in a book!
For adults, the Summer Reading Club starts a week earlier, on June 15, and recreational reading (in print and spoken audio) will be highlighted. Tell us what you enjoy reading, and we’ll provide you with up to ten reading suggestions, books to match your mood or your lifestyle. Plus on our website, www.springfieldlibrary.org, you’ll find a wide variety of booklists as well as how to reserve any book, including those hot new releases.
