Final trash bill for the current year will be mailed on March 9, 2009. These bills reflect the trash fee for the period October 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009, which is $67.50 unless you have a discount. If you have a balance due from the first quarter of FY 2009 or from FY 2008 these amounts due will also appear on your bill plus interest.
Residents are reminded that the Trash Fee remains in effect until July 31, 2011. Residents receiving solid waste collection services from the City are not exempt from payment.
The amount of the fee for solid waste collection remains at $90 annually unless qualified and approved for discounts.
Payment is due in full within 30 days, no later than April 8, 2009. These bills include any past-due amounts from Fiscal Year 2008 and the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2009 as well as the balance due for FY09, quarters 2 –4.
Where applicable, bills also include any interest due from unpaid balances from Fiscal Year 2008 and the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2009. Any payments made after February 20, 2009 will not be reflected on the bill.
Delinquent bills from Fiscal Year 2008 will appear as a lien against the first quarter FY 10 property tax bill.
