Mayor Sarno states, “I want to thank Boston Fed President Susan Collins and her dedicated team for taking the time out of their busy schedule and making the trip out here to Springfield to visit with Mayor William ‘Ironman’ Reichelt and myself. I truly appreciate her outreach. She is a very personable and knowledgeable leader within her industry with a very impressive background in economics. We had a very productive conversation and discussion on a wide variety of issues of importance to the cities of Springfield and West Springfield, and Western Massachusetts. My administration is looking forward to continuing to working together with President Collins and her dedicated staff as we continue to enhance, grow and strengthen our financial stability of our Springfield and the region.”
“It was also great to see and catch up with one of Springfield’s finest, Pierre Joseph. Joseph is a Central High School graduate and former Student Representative for our School Committee. He graduated from Amherst College with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government and currently works with the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston as an Inclusive Economies Manager. All of us here in your hometown of Springfield are so very proud of you. You have accomplished some great achievements and your success story is a testament to your hard work and dedication to your studies and education. Congratulations and wishing you continued success in all of your future endeavors!”
