CAFO Cathy Buono, CDO Tim Sheehan and I had a good discussion meeting MassHire Board Chair Patricia Samra and the new President and CEO of MassHire, Peter Farkas. My administration is looking forward to working with him and the incredible team at MassHire as we continue to work together with our public and private sectors to create more of that good four-letter word, jobs.”

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno, Chief Administrative and Financial Officer (CAFO) Cathy Buono and Chief Development Officer (CDO) Tim Sheehan welcomed MassHire Board Chair Patricia Samra and Peter Farkas, new President and CEO for MassHire. Peter is taking over the helm of the regions premier workforce development resource institution that reaches across a broad range of sectors in the public and private field, following the retirement of David Cruise. David retired in February 2024 after a dynamic, innovative and a very successful career.
