Mayor Domenic J. Sarno states, “In light of the incident that occurred yesterday at City Hall resulting in vandalism to the mayor’s vehicle with a very dangerous weapon, and the fact that this individual had visited my office Tuesday and Wednesday of this week very agitated and threatening in demanding to see me, I have decided to have a complete review of security of the city’s public offices. I am concerned for the safety of our citizens visiting our public offices and for the safety of our city employees. Executive Director of Parks, Buildings, and Facilities Management Patrick Sullivan and Police Superintendent Cheryl Clapprood will conduct this review.”
