Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined with Juan Reyes Falcon, Executive Director for the Hispanic American Library, and David Silva, Executive Director of the Puerto Rican Cultural Center for the 1st Annual New England Latino Festival at Riverfront Park on Friday. State Representative Carlos Gonzalez, State Senator Adam Gomez, City Council President Jesse Lederman, City Councilors Maria Perez and Melvin Edwards, and Chief of Staff to State Representative Orlando Ramos Ayanna Crawford were also in attendance.
Mayor Sarno states, “It was a pleasure to be with Juan Falcon and the Hispanic American Library, David Silva and the Puerto Rican Cultural Center, and our entire Latino Community for the 1st Annual New England Latino Festival. This event serves to highlight the vibrancy and the beautiful mosaic that is our Springfield community with art, food and music from the Caribbean, South America, Central America and Mexico.”
