Mayor Sarno states, “I want to thank Keith Fairey and his Way Finders team for the work they did acting as our conduit to provide our residents with assistance with their mortgage, rent and utility bills. My administration, working through Chief Development Office Tim Sheehan and Housing Director Gerry McCafferty, allocated $3 million to Way Finders for relief and assistance for our residents. This was but one of the many programs and initiatives my administration implemented to help our residents, nonprofits, neighborhoods and business community to not only survive but manage through the difficult and surreal times of the pandemic. Way Finders continues to be a terrific community partner, offering housing services and economic mobility programs for those in need.”

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Housing Director Gerry McCafferty met with Way Finders CEO Keith Fairey today to discuss the city’s continued partnership and services Way Finders provides for residents. Way Finders was a key partner with the city during the COVID-19 pandemic, working to try and keep residents in their homes by providing mortgage, rent and utility assistance. To provide much-needed relief and assistance during the pandemic, Mayor Sarno allocated $3 million to Way Finders to assist residents with their mortgage, rent and utility bills.
