Mayor Sarno states, “I want to thank and applaud Juan Falcon and his amazing team for everything they have done to not only establishing our Hispanic-American Library but enhancing our beautiful cultural diversity that makes our community so vibrant.  The New England Latino Festival is the first of its kind and will promote the beautiful mosaic that is the city of Springfield. I also want to than the numerous generous benefactors from our business and philanthropic community for their support. The festival, which will take place on August 24th through the 26th at our beautiful Riverfront Park, will showcase our vibrant and resilient Latino community through food, music, and so much more.  From mariachis from Mexico, to samba from Brazil, jibaro music and dance from Puerto Rico, there will be a rich display of not only our Springfield community but all of New England as we celebrate our regions diversity and cultures. I look forward to practicing my salsa dance moves, too!”
