Mayor Domenic J. Sarno had a wonderful time attending this year’s 9th annual Jazz & Roots Festival. The Springfield Jazz & Roots Festival is a free, annual music & arts festival in the heart of downtown Springfield, MA produced each year by Blues to Green, Inc.
Mayor Sarno stated, “What a massive crowd, and the atmosphere was electric! It was fantastic to be down at the Jazz & Roots Festival this past weekend. This annual event highlights the beautiful mosaic of Springfield – all different creeds, colors, and backgrounds coming to downtown Springfield to hear world-renowned musicians and singers making beautiful music and drawing visitors from all across New England and New York, too. I was happy to see Holyoke Mayor Josh Garcia and many, many familiar faces enjoying themselves all weekend. Thank you to all who made it a great festival – I am already looking forward to next year’s Jazz & Roots Festival!”
