The Department of Public Works Solid Waste Division wishes to inform the residents of Springfield who have municipal trash, recycling and yard waste collection on Wednesday 7/20/22 that Collection will begin at 5:30 am due to the impending heat wave with temperatures reaching the upper 90’s with a head index near 100* for Wednesday.
Please have your trash and recycling carts on the curb no later than 5:30 am.
Those residents that have scheduled bulk collection are to have the items curbside at 5:30 am as well.
