Mayor Sarno stated, “It was great to visit with my old friend Richard Muise who has taken up wood crafting. These two wood crafted pens are absolutely beautiful and I want to thank Richard for gifting them to my wife Carla and I. Richard or Mr. IT as I affectionately call him, was a long time teacher for our Putnam Vocational Academy and also taught students at the Hampden County House of Corrections too. His heart and soul has always been in our Springfield and he is always giving back to our community in whatever ways he can.”

Mayor Sarno Enjoys a Visit from Good Friend Richard Muise
Mayor Domenic J. Sarno enjoyed a visit from good friend and retired Springfield teacher Richard Muise. Muise presented the Mayor with two wood carved pens he crafted, one made out of Ipe wood and the other out of Canary wood.
