Mayor Sarno and City Officials Meet with Benjamin Smith from the D.R.E.A.M. Studios

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno, Chief Development Officer Tim Sheehan, Director of Recovery and Business Continuity Attorney Tom Moore, Director of Technical Assistance and Compliance Patrice Swan and Mayoral Aide Lavar Click-Bruce met today with Benjamin Smith from the D.R.E.A.M. Studios to discuss potential opportunities for the Studio to relocate their business back into the City of Springfield.

The D.R.E.A.M. Studios Inc. offers an alternative to after school programs through a wide variety of programs including sports and dancing, to give students an opportunity to go on to college on a performing arts scholarship.

Mayor Sarno states, “It was good to meet with Benjamin Smith and hear his thoughts and vision for the future of his beloved D.R.E.A.M. Studios.  My administration, through CDO Tim Sheehan and New Director of Recovery and Business Continuity Attorney Tom Moore and Director of Technical Assistance and Compliance Patrice ‘Chae’ Swan, will continue to work with Benjamin in identifying any potential opportunities that can be mutually beneficial for our residents and the D.R.E.A.M. Studios.  Benjamin and his team do such a wonderful and tremendous job with our students.”
