Mayor Domenic J. Sarno states, “We have all worked so hard to move to defeat this COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic – we are now at a crossroads. Simply put, getting the vaccination works!
The facts show that less than .001% of fully vaccinated individuals are getting sick, and that less .004% have been hospitalized. This recent uptick of the delta virus is largely preventable if you are fully vaccinated. This, again, should not be about politics – pure and simple, this is about public health and common sense.
By getting fully vaccinated, we will finally bring back full public, business, and consumer confidence. Also, please do not ostracize those that who feel more comfortable in wearing a mask due to underlying health concerns. To get more “vax” info, please go to our city’s vaccination page.
