Mayor Sarno Attended the Grand Opening of Dewey’s Jazz Lounge

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno attended the grand opening of Dewey’s Jazz Lounge on Saturday, June 12, 2021. Mayor Sarno joined with owner Kenny Lumpkin and family as they cut the ribbon for the grand opening of Dewey's Jazz Lounge at 232 Worthington Street.

Dewey’s Jazz Lounge was founded by Western Massachusetts native Kenny Lumpkin and Dr. Mark Markarian.  Dewey’s was created from a true love of music, passion for exceptional food and drink, and a desire to unite community members. Dewey’s intends to create a vibrant environment where everyone feels welcomed and to come listen to talented, local musicians and enjoy craft cocktails and modern American cuisine.

Mayor Sarno stated, “I want to commend Kenny for following his dream and opening up Dewey’s Jazz Lounge.  This establishment will complement our Worthington Street dining and entertainment corridor.  I am looking forward to patronizing Dewey’s Jazz Lounge and enjoying their cuisine and music.  I have no doubts that Dewey’s Jazz Lounge will become a staple of our downtown for years to come.”

The new business is located next to the recently refurbished Duryea Way at Stearns Square in the Dining District, and is open Wednesday through Sunday, including weekend brunch. Visit www.deweyslounge.com for reservations and more information.
