Mayor Sarno and City Hall Wish Attorney Melvyn Altman and Paralegal Stephanie Liebl a Happy and Healthy Retirement

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined with colleagues from City Hall to wish Attorney Melvyn Altman and Paralegal Stephanie Liebl a very happy, healthy, enjoyable and well-deserved retirement.

Attorney Altman attended Classical High School and is a graduate from UMass Amherst and Western New England University School of Law.  Attorney Altman began his career with the City of Springfield in 1994 as a Tax Title Attorney.  After nearly twenty-seven years, he is ready to call it a career retiring as a 3rd Associate City Solicitor with the Law Department.

Paralegal Stephanie Liebl studied business at Western New England College and became a certified paralegal.  She began her career with the City of Springfield’s Law Department in 2004.  After seventeen years, Stephanie is ready to call it a career. 

Mayor Sarno stated, “I want to thank Stephanie and Melvyn for their commitment and dedication to the City of Springfield and our residents and business community.  Our Law Department will truly miss them.  Congratulations on a well-deserved retirement.”
