Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined with Cher’ie Wilson, owner of the M.C.’s Salon for the grand opening and a ribbon cutting ceremony today at her new salon located in Haymarket Square at 1760 Boston, Rd. in Springfield. Mayor Sarno will presented a proclamation declaring Tuesday, March 23, 2021 as “M.C.’s Salon Day” in the City of Springfield.
Mayor Sarno stated, “The City, along with the Common Capital program, was thrilled to work with Ms. Wilson to get this new woman and minority owned business open in our Springfield. Though we are currently facing surreal and challenging times – we will defeat this COVID-19. With that, we must continue to dictate our future with these types of job creation initiatives. I thank Ms. Wilson for her belief and investment in our Springfield and wish her continued success with her new salon.”
