Mayor Sarno Joined Spirit of Springfield for Special Bright Nights 15th Anniversary Road Race Announcement

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined with Spirit of Springfield President Judy Matt, board chair Attorney Melinda Phelps, and this year’s Bright Night’s Road Race spokesperson, Health New England President Richard Swift for a special announcement about this year’s annual Bright Night’s Road Race.

This year marks the fifteenth anniversary of the Bright Night’s Road Race which is held every November at Forest Park and tends to sell out within an hour of registration going live. This year, the event will not take place in-person. Runners can participate in the Bright Night’s Road Race virtually and submit their times and photos online.

Registration for the Bright Nights 5K Virtual Run will open Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020, at noon and close Wednesday, Nov. 11, at noon. The first 250 to complete the registration will be eligible for early registration for the 2021 Bright Nights 5K Road Race.
