Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined with Hampden County District Attorney Anthony Gulluni to thank the Antonacci family for their very generous philanthropic gift of $125,000 to the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. This donation was part of the GivingTuesdayNow movement to help raise attention for charitable giving.
Mayor Sarno recently did a radio-thon on 94.7 WMAS to raise funds for the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts.
“I am deeply appreciative of the Antonacci’s continued philanthropic efforts,” said Mayor Sarno. “Their donation will continue to aid our Springfield Open Pantry and John Foley’s Oasis Food Banks tremendously so our families can keep putting food on the table.”
