Mayor Domenic J. Sarno states, “Though this is bittersweet, the unanimous decision by the Springfield Housing Authority (SHA) Board of Commissioners to select Denise Jordan as their next Executive Director is my and our city’s loss, but the SHA’s gain – she has impeccable leadership credentials. I thank Denise for her 10 years of completely dedicated and loyal service to our city. For the past decade she has been by my side as a valued confidant through the triumphs and challenges our city has faced. She will be sorely missed and I wish her the very best and I know she’ll do a fantastic job for the residents, staff and initiative programs for the SHA.”
