Mayor Domenic J. Sarno welcomed Buy Springfield Now (BSN) representatives to City Hall this morning to present a $500 dollar gift card to Lowe’s to Jasmin Clemons, a Springfield resident who recently closed on her first home in the City of Springfield. Ms. Clemons is the “Gold Level” winner of a recent raffle sponsored by Key Bank. Joining the Mayor to congratulate Jasmin were Laura Roy, Mortgage Consultant for Key Bank, Moyah Smith, Community Outreach Officer for United Bank, Miranda Ronke-Czariecki, Vice President of Key Bank, Rocco Leone, Business Development Officer of Western Massachusetts for MassHousing and Cindy Gaynor, Realtor and Marketing Director for NRG Real Estate. All are members of the BSN initiative with Moyah Smith serving as Chair and Laura Roy serving as Vice Chair of Buy Springfield Now.
Ms. Clemons recently closed on her new home which she purchased through BSN, a public-private initiative out of the Mayor’s Office that supports local homeowners and prospective buyers. BSN partners are committed to helping buyers along the process, and are pleased to have the opportunity to provide a wide-range of services and discounts for those who wish to participate in the program.
“This has been a strong public and private collaboration that highlights the good, strong and affordable housing stock and neighborhoods we have in our Springfield,” said Mayor Sarno. “I appreciate Jasmin’s belief and investment in our city and wish her the best of luck with her new home.”
