Celebrity Read Aloud at Kensington International School

Friday, December 2, 2016

Mayor Sarno read to fourth graders at Kensington International School yesterday as a part of the Link to Libraries Celebrity Read Aloud program. In addition to the Mayor, John Davis of the Davis Foundation, Ray Berry of the United Way and the White Lion Brewing Company and Peter Rosskothen of the Log Cabin and the Delaney House also volunteered their time to read to third and fourth-graders at the school. The featured book at Kensington was the real-life story of the "Day-Glow Brothers," by Chris Barton.

The sit-down with students is a part of the Link to Libraries program, which brings books to schoolchildren during October to May visits to area schools. Children are able to pick out books during the visits and then swap with other students.
