Pope Francis High School Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony

A groundbreaking ceremony was held today to mark the beginning of construction of the new Pope Francis High School on Surrey Road. Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined Bishop Mitchell T. Rozanski, Congressman Richard E. Neal, elected leaders, and excited members of the community to celebrate the coming together of Cathedral and Holyoke Catholic High Schools. The $55 million dollar project will take approximately two years of construction time and is expected to be open for the 2018-2019 school year.
