Does the fee include disposal of bulky items?

No it does not.   As of September 1, 2006, the City charges an $8 disposal fee for each bulk item.  

The bulk item stickers can be purchased at: 

• All Big Y supermarkets in Springfield, also the East Longmeadow, Ludlow, Longmeadow and West Springfield stores.
• City Hall, in City Clerk's Office (36 Court Street).
