Historical Commission

The Springfield Historical Commission is comprised of seven Commissioners.  Currently, there are six members and one vacancy.  The Commissioners currently serving on the Springfield Historical Commission are:

Vincent Walsh

Marisa Zorzi

Application Information for Proposed Work in a Local Historic District

Historical Commission Applications can be found on the right side of this webpage and must be submitted to the Office of Planning & Economic Development for review by the Springfield Historical Commission. The Commission meets regularly on the first and third Thursday of each month in the Congressman Richard E. Neal Municipal Operations Center, Video Conference Room located at 70 Tapley Street.

If proposing work on a property that is designated historic and you are unsure which application to download, please contact Office Staff for the appropriate application and related materials.
