• Develop and maintain comprehensive citywide Emergency Management Plan [CEMP]
• Coordinate response, recovery, and mitigation concerns for all City departments
• Responsible for deployment and management of the Emergency Operations Center [EOC]
• Responsible for implementation of federal Superfund Amendment Reauthorization Act
• Staffs the City's Emergency Medical Services Commission for ambulance service contracts
• Oversees radio links between ambulance services, fire services, and area hospitals
