At which time the Proposals will be privately opened and read. RFS documents and specifications will be available beginning on February 5, 2025 in person at the Office of Procurement or through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com during normal business hours for no charge.

The City of Springfield (The “Owner”) is seeking the services of a qualified “Owners Project Manager” (OPM) as defined in Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149§ 44A ½© and as further defined by provisions stated in the RFS to provide Project Management Services for the design, construction, addition to and /or renovation of the German Gerena Elementary School, located at 200 Bernie Avenue in Springfield, Massachusetts.

The City of Springfield is requesting the services of an OPM to represent to Owner during the feasibility study phase of the contract, which may be amended to include continued Project Management Services through design development, construction documents, bid and award, construction and final closeout of the potential Project. The estimated total project costs of an approved Proposed Project may range from $120,000,000 to $140,000,000 depending upon the solution agreed upon by the Owner and the MSBA and ultimately approved by a vote of the MSBA Board of Directors.
