Bids will be received until 2:00 PM on May 2, 2024, and publicly opened, forthwith online.
The City of Springfield is seeking bids from qualified firms to enter into an agreement to provide parking lot improvements at the following Springfield Public Schools. These bids fall under M.G.L. Ch. 30§39M and other procurement statutes.
Bid 24-219 – Daniel B. Brunton School, 1801 Parker St, Springfield, MA 01128. This project includes construction of a new 51-space HMA parking area and expansion of the existing driveway loop. It also includes construction of a storm water bioretention area, concrete sidewalks and wheelchair ramps, relocation of an existing light pole, restriping of an existing parking lot, and miscellaneous site improvements. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $710,000.00. It is strongly encouraged to attend a site visit on 4/18/24 at 11:30 A.M. on-site.

All questions regarding the IFB or its specifications must be received in writing by the Office of Procurement on or before 4/23/24 by 4:30 P.M. (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
