at which time the bids will be publicly open and read in the Office of Procurement.

The City of Springfield invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing the requested services, to submit bids to enter into an agreement to provide renovation to Hubbard Park Tennis Courts, 205 Parker St, Indian Orchard, MA 01151. This bid falls under M.G.L. Ch. 30§39M and other procurement statutes.

Project is to renovate the tennis courts at Hubbard Park with new pavement, surfacing, fencing, landscaping and, installation of owner-supplied site amenities. Project includes demolition, paving, and site work. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $275,000.00. Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com or in person at the Office of Procurement (during normal business hours) beginning on April 3, 2024.

It is strongly encouraged to attend a site visit on April 10, 2024 at 10:00 AM on site. All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than April 11, 2024 by 4:30 P.M. (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety and Federal Davis- Bacon Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
