at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Office of Procurement. The City of Springfield, through its Department of Parks, Buildings & Recreation Management – Facilities Division, is seeking bids from qualified contractors to enter into an agreement to provide intercom replacement services at the following Springfield Public Schools. Bidding procedures are per Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149 as amended and other applicable statutes. Chapter 149 requires that the Prime/General Contractor be certified by the State Division of Capital Asset Management. Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website; www.springfield-ma.gov (during normal business hours) beginning on March 27, 2024.

Bid 24-068 – Kensington International School intercom installation has an estimated value of approximately $150,000.00. It is strongly encouraged to attend a site visit on 4/2/24 at 10:30 A.M. at 31 Kensington Ave, Springfield, MA 01108.

All questions regarding the IFB or its specifications must be received in writing by the Office of Procurement on or before 4/3/24 by 4:30 P.M. (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety and Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
