23-075 - Bid for Deberry-Swan Elementary School

Sealed Bids for furnishing, delivering and installing School Furniture and Equipment to the DeBerry-Swan Elementary School, Springfield, Massachusetts 01109, will be received by the City of Springfield, Massachusetts, acting by and through its School Building Commission, the Awarding Authority, at the Office of Procurement, City Hall – Room 307, 36 Court Street, Springfield, Massachusetts 01103, until 2:00 PM local time, on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids will not be accepted nor may submitted bids be corrected, modified or withdrawn after the deadline for bids.
Bids shall be addressed as follows:

Bid documents will be available in electronic form only through BidDocs ONLINE on December 5, 2022. Go to www.biddocsonline.com and click on the “bidding” tab at the top and then click on the “Solicitations” tab at the left and click on “Current Listing” and on the IFB name. Once you are on the project page, click on any of the icons at the left to view the documents.
One or more purchase orders may be issued for the F&E hereunder. This will be a one time purchase.
DELIVERY AND COMPLETION: Deliveries and installations shall be scheduled between June 1, 2023 and June 26, 2023.
All delivery shedules are subject to change depending on the Construction Manager’s work completion. Bidders shall indicate lead-time requirements on the Bid Form. Such information shall be attached to each copy of the Bid Form.
The building elevators will be available for use by the Equipment Contractors.
Bid security in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount bid must accompany each bid. Certified or bank checks only, letters of credit or bonds will be accepted. Bonds must be from surety companies licensed by the Commonwealth Division of Insurance to transact business in Massachusetts.
All bids shall be in conformance with the provisions of Chapter 30B of the Massachusetts General Laws.
The Owner reserves the right to vary quantities and to accept or reject any/or all Bids, or any part of any Bid, if it be in the public interest to do so.
