23-069 - Cleaning & Reconditioning of Athletic Equipment and Football Replacement/New Equipment

Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning November 7, 2022 at the Office of Procurement or by requesting a copy on the Citys website on the Procurement Departments page at www.springfieldcityhall.com. This Invitation for Bids is in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30B.

The City of Springfield, through the School Department requests bids for the Cleaning and Reconditioning of Athletic Football Equipment and Football Replacement/New Equipment.

Price Agreement period will be from December 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year terms. Estimated cost is $75,000.00 per year. Any vendor submitting a proposal must include a formal statement of net worth or have product liability insurance of not less than $10,000,000.00. Failure to submit this formal statement will result in disqualification of the bid/proposal.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement (lstabilo@springfieldcityhall.com and jmaxey@springfieldcityhall.com) by November 14, 2022 at 4:30P.M.
The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
