at which time the bids will be privately opened and read in the Office of Procurement. Bid forms will be available on the City’s website, www.springfieldcityhall.com on June 13, 2022, under the Available Solicitations tab.

The City of Springfield, is requesting proposals from qualified firms for Auctioneering Services for properties acquired through the tax title foreclosure process pursuant to Chapter 60 of the Massachusetts General Laws. Services include: property selection, site visitations, open houses, seminars, communication with interested parties, auctions and reporting. The contract is for one year with an option for an additional two years and has a not to exceed amount of $50,000.00.

The City hereby requests competitive sealed proposals in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B.The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than June 21, 2022 by 4:30 P.M. to Katie Vegh at kvegh@springfieldcityhall.com . The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
