at which time the bids will be privately opened and read in the Office of Procurement. Bid forms will be available on the City’s website, www.springfieldcityhall.com on May 18, 2022, under the Available Solicitations tab.

The City of Springfield is requesting proposals for the redevelopment of various vacant lots. The City is soliciting proposals from developers interest in undertaking a development project or expanding an existing project or property. Please be advised, proposers are NOT required to bid on all properties contained in the list below.

While the financial benefits of a proposal are important to the selection of a developer, coupled with all selection criteria, the City will also consider the broader fiscal and economic benefits to be realized from the redevelopment project.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than June 22, 2022 by 4:30 P.M. to Hope Button at hbutton@springfieldcityhall.com . The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
