at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Bid forms are available on the City’s website, www.springfieldcityhall.com on August 16, 2021, under the “Available Solicitations” tab.

The City of Springfield is seeking to obtain an agreement for On-Call Chemical Treatment & Maintenance of Boilers and Chillers. The estimated value of the contract is not to exceed $50,000.00 per year. The initial term of the contract awarded is One (1) year with option to renew for two (2) additional years. This bid is subject to M.G.L. c.30B § 5.

Bidders must be ISO-9002 certified, must have been in business at least ten (10) years, and the service technicians must possess a current Applicator’s License. This licensing information must be submitted with bid. Product Data and MSDS sheets must be submitted with each bid and appropriately displayed at each location that work will be done.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than August 25, 2021 by 4:30 P.M. to Katie Vegh at kvegh@springfieldcityhall.com . The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
