City is seeking financing companies to submit 5-year financing options to the City of Springfield. The estimated cost for the vehicles is $1,553,727.00

Vehicles were purchased off the Greater Boston Police Council 2021 contract. In accordance with Metropolitan Area Planning Council.

ANNUAL COST TO REMAIN FIXED FOR THE COMPLETE FIVE (5) YEAR PERIOD.

City will award to that bidder who offers the lowest price and:

1. Quotes a fixed, numerical interest rate which the City may take for ninety days after the opening of bids during which time the City expects to award and take delivery of the goods.

2. Agrees to equal, annual payments for the term of sixty (60) months, at the end of which the City (Lessee) will have won the goods outright for no additional cost;

3. (Either) includes a schedule of payments or quotes with a lease factor that can be multiplied by the total cost of the goods to produce the cost figure of each, equal annual payment.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
