The City of Springfield is seeking bids from qualified vendors to enter into a service agreement for on-call, as-needed, removal of existing window treatments and then furnish and install new roller shades/blinds and most other window treatments for windows located at various School and Municipal buildings located throughout the City of Springfield, MA.

The City intends to award up to Two (2) potential contracts to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder(s). The estimated value of the contract(s) shall not exceed $50,000.00 per year. The initial term of this contract will be for One (1) year, but will include Two (2) one-year in length renewal options, to be exercised at the City’ sole discretion.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than June 2, 2021 by 4:30 P.M. to Katie Vegh at kvegh@springfieldcityhall.com . The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
