at which time the Bids will be opened and read via teleconference (Call in Number: (413) 784-4951, ID# 312372#) in the Office of Procurement. Bid documents and specifications will be available beginning May 3, 2021 at the Office of Procurement. Bidders can request a copy on the City’s website on the Procurement Department page at www.springfieldcityhall.com. Please refer to the bid number and the opening date when inquiring. This bid is subject to M.G.L. c. 30B.

Obsolete/Scrap Vehicles – Per Bid No. 21-171
City is requesting bids on the sale of twenty (22) obsolete/scrap vehicles. The vehicles have been used for parts and are no longer any use to the department even as parts, vehicles should be purchased for scrap. Bidders wishing to view items may do so by contacting Sergeant Ken Turowski, Fleet Manager at (413) 787-6347 at Springfield Police Department at130 Pearl Street, Springfield MA 01103.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
