The City of Springfield is seeking qualified contractors to provide Plumbing Repair services at Lincoln Elementary School located at 732 Chestnut Street in Springfield, MA. This bid falls under M.G.L. Ch. 149 and other procurement statutes.

Work includes, but is not limited to: replacement of existing handwashing sinks throughout the building. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $50,000.00. Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website; www.springfield-ma.gov (during normal business hours) beginning on March 24, 2021.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

There is a MANDATORY SITE VISIT on 3/29/2021 at 9A.M. – 11A.M. on-site at Lincoln Elementary School located at 732 Chestnut Street in Springfield, MA. All questions regarding the IFB or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement on or before March 31, 2021 by 4:30 P.M. (sduncan@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered.
