At which time the Proposals will be privately opened and read. RFP documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning January 15, 2021, through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com. Please refer to the bid number and opening date when requesting. The services included in this bid will fall under M.G.L. Ch. 30B § 6 and other applicable procurement statutes.

The City is seeking a qualified Vendor to provide and establish a voluntary employee purchase program under which its eligible employees may purchase computers, electronics, home appliances, furnishings, and related products as a payroll deduction.

The initial term of this contract will be for One (1) year, but will include Two (2) one-year in length renewal options, to be exercised at the City’ sole discretion. All questions regarding this RFP or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement in writing by January 27, 2021 at 4:30 P.M. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation in all contracts, and state law prohibits discrimination. All Proposals becomes the property of the City of Springfield. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
