This bid is subject to M.G.L. c. 30B. Bid documents will be available beginning October 5, 2020 in person at the Office of Procurement during normal business hours or through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com for no charge.

The City of Springfield Fire Department is seeking to secure a financing in order to complete a lease purchase of a Fire Apparatus. The actual purchase of the vehicle will be through a collaborative agreement, bid is for lease financing only. Estimated value of the apparatus to be purchased is $729,537.00. Finance agreement will be for Six (6) years in length.

All questions must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than 10/14/20 4:30 P.M. in order to be considered (rwalker@springfieldcityhall.com). The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject and/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or formalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the City. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.
